On Mother’s Day, celebrate with brunch, art, and DIY activities at Compound (1395 Coronado Ave). Start the day with a breathwork and sound bath session led by Sabrina Rollo, available at 9 or 10:30 AM. Compound will also offer a brunch buffet created by in-house restaurant Union, featuring sweet and savory dishes and a mimosa or mocktail on the house! Activities available as add-ons include a DIY flower bouquet bar and mother-child aura photography and energy readings. Museum of Latin American Art

¡Feliz Día de la Madre! Enjoy a visit to the Museum of Latin American Art (628 Alamitos Ave) on Mother's Day. The museum will be offering a free children's workshop from 1 to 3 PM where kids can make crafts and gifts celebrating mom. Reservations are available online. Visitors can also see MOLAA's new exhibit, Ironías Del Sur: Neo-Figuration from the Collection, which showcases examples of personal expression through portraiture and self-portraiture.
