Visit Long Beach Launches Holiday Savings Pass & Santa Hat Challenge

(LONG BEACH, CA – DECEMBER 3, 2025) Holiday fun and festivities have descended on Long Beach for the month of December, and everyone can make the most of it with two new digital passes from Visit Long Beach! Enjoy great deals at local shops, hotels, restaurants, and service providers with the Holiday Savings Pass, and enter the Santa Hat Challenge for a chance to win big prizes.

Long Beach Holiday Savings Pass passholders will have access to savings and specials at 30 Long Beach businesses from December 3 to 30, 2025. Registration is free and the pass is easy to use right from your phone. Visit the website to sign up, then receive a text message with a link to start redeeming.

The Santa Hat Challenge is an interactive scavenger hunt/check-in challenge to find lit Santa hats on the Terrace Theater Plaza amid a display of a half-million lights. Participants will be entered to win one of three fabulous prize packages. Find six or more of the LED Santa Hat decorations hung on the plaza and nearby Rainbow Bridge, scan the QR codes posted at each location, and be entered to win a sweepstakes.

Three random winners will be selected in January to win prize bundles that include experiences at local restaurants and attractions. Sign up for the Santa Hat Challenge on the VisitLB website, then receive a text message with a link to start your search.

Santa Hat Challenge Prizes

Prize 1:

  • Dinner for two and a wine tasting at Chez Bacchus, a sophisticated restaurant in Downtown Long Beach that pairs farm-to-table cuisine with wines curated by Owner and Advanced Sommelier John Hansen.
  • Escape room experience for four at PanIQ Room Long Beach on Pine Avenue. Choose from the Pirates of Tortuga, Wizard Trials, and Insane Asylum rooms.
