Long Beach Pride Run
May 18, 8:00am
The Shoreline Frontrunners of Long Beach proudly announce the 32nd Annual Long Beach Pride Run. This vibrant event, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, will commence at the intersection of Ocean Blvd. and Junipero Avenue at 8 am. Runners and walkers alike are invited to join in the festivities as the Long Beach Pride Run offers a 5K Race/Walk and 10K Race along the picturesque Long Beach Shoreline Beach Path. Participants can register online at www.lbpride.run.
New in 2025 – Free bike valet sponsored by Pedal Movement is making it even easier to get to the start line.
The Long Beach Pride Run proudly offers a non-binary category, recognizing and affirming gender diversity within our community. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and celebrated.
In addition to the main race, the Pride sKIDaddle, a 200ft dash for children, is happening before the main race, at 7:45 am. Children will be provided with crayons and bibs to color and receive finisher medals for their participation. Kids run free with a participating adult, encouraging families to join in the fun-filled morning.
Long Beach Pride Run boasts chip timing services provided by Negative Split, ensuring accurate and efficient results for all participants. Each participant will receive a technical shirt and a finisher’s medal as tokens of their achievement.
The awards ceremony will kick off at 9:00 am on the bluff at Junipero and Ocean, followed by the iconic Long Beach Pride Parade. All participants should cross the finish line by 9:30 am to accommodate the Long Beach Pride Parade.
The LB Pride Run is not only a celebration of athleticism but also a testament to community support. Proceeds from this event will bolster local community service organizations serving the LGBT community, continuing our tradition of giving back. Beneficiaries include the CARE Program at St. Mary Medical Center, the Center Long Beach, the AIDS Food Store of Long Beach, Gay For Good, L.A. CADA, and the South Bay LGBTQ Center.
