Fun Weekly Events at the Queen Mary in Long Beach

Almost any night of the week, you can enjoy special entertainment and delicious food and drinks on the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach. While it’s known as a unique hotel stay, thrilling location for music festivals–Day Trip, Dreamstate–as well as Dark Harbor at Halloween time, the Queen Mary is also a great place for happy hour, brunch, and karaoke with friends! Here’s a rundown of weekly offerings, and discounted admission, that makes a midweek visit worth your while.

TUESDAYS: MEET ME AT THE MARY

THURSDAYS: LIVE JAZZ AND BLUES

On Thursday nights from 6 to 10 PM, the Observation Bar hosts lounge singers, bands, and combos for live jazz and blues, allowing you to travel back in time to the middle of the last century, when the Observation Bar served as the Queen Mary’s (1126 Queens Hwy) first class lounge. Tickets include free ship admission and $10 parking with validation. Seating is first come, first served, and you can sip on the bar’s specialty cocktails, like the Boiler Room, made with rye, demerara, cherry bark vanilla bitters, and finished in a smoking box with hickory wood.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE
