Coming Soon to the Long Beach Amphitheater
The new Long Beach Amphitheater’s upcoming first season promises several exciting headliners, with genres spanning rock, country, rap, hip hop, cumbia, emo, and reggae. Set on the waterfront, against the backdrop of the city’s skyline, these concerts will showcase Long Beach as a key stop for major national touring acts and reflect the city’s legacy as a hotbed of musical talent.
GRAND OPENING: SNOOP DOGG & FRIENDS
It was pretty much inevitable that Snoop Dogg, arguably Long Beach’s most famous native and celebrity, would headline the grand opening of the Long Beach Amphitheater. His homecoming show kicks off the new venue’s inaugural season with the hip hop artist’s legendary swagger and hit songs. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
CLAYPOOL GOLD
Featuring the bands Primus, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, and Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, the Claypool Gold summer 2026 tour brings all three bands to the stage to perform both separately and all together in a large collaborative formation. Les Claypool, ranked among rock’s best bass players by Rolling Stone magazine, is the founder of all three groups and formed The Claypool Lennon Delirium with Sean Lennon in 2016. LIL WAYNE
Rap icon Lil Wayne is on tour celebrating 20 years of his Tha Carter series of albums supported by special guests 2 Chainz and The Game. His six releases have spawned such hits as “A Milli,” “Hustler Musik,” and “Mr. Carter,” earning Lil Wayne multiple GRAMMY Award nominations and wins. Weezy arrives in Long Beach on Aug. 1, with tickets available on Ticketmaster.
TOTO + CHRISTOPHER CROSS + THE ROMANTICS
You know their hits: Toto’s “Africa” was repopularized by Stranger Things and has achieved 2 billion streams on Spotify alone. Christopher Cross’s hit song “Sailing” earned him the GRAMMY for Song of the Year in 1980. And The Romantics are beloved for “What I Like About You” and other billboard toppers. LUKE BRYAN
Country artist Luke Bryan, known for hit songs like “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” and “Knockin’ Boots,” will be in Long Beach with his Word on the Street Tour on Aug. 15. Bryan’s eighth studio album, “Mind of a Country Boy,” was released in 2024 and featured the singles "Country On", "But I Got a Beer in My Hand", "Love You, Miss You, Mean It", and "Country Song Came On." DIRTY HEADS AND 311
Dirty Heads and 311 will bring their So Glad You Made It Tour to Long Beach on Aug. 18, featuring special guests Atmosphere and ROME. These bands, with their blend of alt rock and alt reggae, will bring a laid-back vibe to the Long Beach waterfront that perfectly matches the city’s scene. Dirty Heads will also be coming off the release of their latest studio album, “7 Seas,” while 311 will be looking ahead to the return of their 311 Day Cruise in 2027. THREE PIANOS: SOMETHING CORPORATE, JACK’S MANNEQUIN, ANDREW MCMAHON
Last summer, singer/songwriter Andrew McMahon held a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater with all three of his bands, and he was inspired to turn what was originally a one-night experience into several live dates across the country. Three Pianos: An Evening with Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness will be at the Long Beach Amphitheater on Aug. 22. Fans of indie-pop and emo from the early aughts won’t want to miss this one. NAS & THE ROOTS
The Long Beach Amphitheater could not program its first season without a concert like this one, bringing together some of the most legendary names in hip hop. Performing on Aug. 28, Nas and The Roots with special guests De La Soul will bring their limited run tour “A Great Night in Hip Hop” to Long Beach for what is certain to be among the biggest nights of 2026 at the new venue. LOS ANGELES AZULES
The iconic Mexican group Los Ángeles Azules have announced a stop at the Long Beach Amphitheater on Sept. 5 with their “Cumbia Sin Fronteras Tour.” Known for their hit songs including “Nunca Es Suficiente” with Natalia Lafourcade, “Cómo Te Voy A Olvidar,” and “Amor a Primera Vista,” the group promises a show full of energy, dancing, and joy. DEEP PURPLE
Deep Purple will bring their tour with Kansas to Long Beach on September 11 for a concert celebrating rock royalty. British hard rockers Deep Purple were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and are considered pioneers of heavy metal. Known for hits like Smoke on the Water and Highway Star, the band is currently working on a studio album expected to be released this year. Legends of 1970s classic rock, Kansas is known for songs like Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH
Hard rock band Five Finger Death Punch will bring their 20th Anniversary World Tour to the Long Beach Amphitheater on Sept. 18, with special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire. The tour will showcase new material from Five Finger Death Punch’s upcoming studio album, while Jinks will showcase his current album “In My Blood,” and Eva Under Fire will be promoting its upcoming release for 2026, “Villainous.” $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to support Team USA athletes, specifically USA Judo and the USA Cycling BMX teams. MÖTLEY CRÜE
Celebrating the band’s 45th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of their Carnival of Sins tour, Mötley Crüe is coming to the Long Beach Amphitheater on Sept. 19 with special guests Tesla and Extreme. The Carnival of Sins tour, which originally took place in 2005-06, is known for elaborate staging, setlists packed with hits, and carnival-themed chaos. This is a chance to see the legendary hair metal rockers Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil, and John 5 as they tour the nation.
