Nosferatu with Live Score

Composer, conductor, and author Jack Curtis Dubowsky and his Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble return this Halloween with Dubowsky’s original score to FW Murnau’s chilling 1922 horror classic NOSFERATU at the historic Art Theatre of Long Beach.

Summoned to a bloodthirsty vampire's faraway castle, a young land clerk embarks on a harrowing journey into the unknown as his innocent wife falls under the spell of a terrifying shadow in her dreams.

Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble sparks new life with original scores to classic silent films including Nosferatu, The Golem, The Phantom Carriage, Sunrise, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and The Mark of Zorro, for which they released a soundtrack album ZORRO in 2017. A team of top players led by composer and conductor Jack Curtis Dubowsky, JCDE combines intricately composed material and structured improvisation.
