Dark Harbor returns to the Queen Mary for fun and frights from September 18 to November 1, 2026. This popular and thrilling Halloween festival transforms the legendary ship into a haunted haven filled with chilling mazes, including the new Shipwrecked: Brace for Impact, alongside reimagined favorites such as Lullaby and Infirmary. Beyond the mazes, brave gravity-defying carnival rides and dance to nightly DJ sets. PARANORMAL PASSAGE
Now available for overnight stays, the Queen Mary’s Paranormal Passage staterooms join the popular B340 Paranormal Suite experience for those interested in communing with the spirits during their stay. Inspired by the ship’s tales of the paranormal, these staterooms spotlight historic architectural details, including original windows, and curated decor to heighten the mystery and legend.
GREY GHOST GALLEY
The most convenient pre-Dark Harbor dining option is actually on board the Queen Mary itself. Happening on all Dark Harbor nights, the Grey Ghost Galley is a new all-you-can-eat buffet featuring spooky dishes and Halloween-themed desserts. Gain early access to the Queen Mary and enjoy a meal before Dark Harbor gates open. The name pays homage to the ship’s past, when the Queen Mary provided troop transport during WWII. Her speed and ability to evade enemy U-boats paired with wartime grey paint for camouflage earned her the nickname “Grey Ghost.”
HAUNTED TOURS
The best way to see the Queen Mary’s paranormal side up close is on a tour that highlights the ship’s otherworldly activity. The Haunted Encounters Tour amounts to Queen Mary Ghosts 101. Offered daily, this one-hour tour provides an introduction to the ship’s most famous paranormal residents. The Paranormal Ship Walk, offered nightly, creeps closer to experiencing the supernatural and ventures into rarely accessible hidden rooms and compartments. Finally, for the most daring guests, the Graveyard Tour is held Friday and Saturday evenings. This haunted jaunt takes guests on a two-hour journey into rarely seen areas of the ship, uncovering the legends behind some of its most notorious ghosts.
SPOOKEASY
If your perfect night includes ghost stories and delicious drinks, the Queen Mary’s Spookeasy is the event for you. Happening weekly on Mondays from September 28 to October 19, these intriguing evenings include a mini tour of the ship’s most haunted spaces accompanied by a complimentary welcome drink and tales of the Queen’s legendary past. Then, visit No.3 speakeasy for a crystal or palm reading, sound bath, and a chance to mingle over more spooky sips.
MOVIES ON THE MARY
The opportunity to watch some of the most legendary horror movies onboard the world’s most haunted ocean liner is coming to the Queen Mary this season. Tickets are now on sale for screenings of Beetlejuice (October 12) and The Shining (October 19) in the ship’s onboard theater. Grab your popcorn and prepare for big-screen scares!
MURDER MYSTERY DINNER
The Queen Mary’s Murder Mystery Dinner sets the stage for a night of glamor, suspense, and intrigue as the ship prepares for its last great cruise in 1967. You’ll find yourself in the middle of the action, joining a cast of eccentric characters to help solve the case. Each ticket includes ship admission, a multi-course dinner, and an interactive, musical comedy mystery that unfolds all around you. Held weekly on Monday nights October 5 to 19, this suspenseful occasion makes a perfect pre-Halloween date night.
