Long Beach Camerata Singers 60th Anniversary Gala

Long Beach Camerata Singers is hosting its 60th Anniversary Gala in celebration of the group's music, honorees and community. The event will include a reception starting at 11:30 AM followed by lunch at 1 PM.

Experience a relaxed afternoon with us as we share an elegant meal, hear from Grammy winning Artistic Director, Dr. James K. Bass and enjoy a performance by a quartet of our most talented singers.

2025 HONOREES:

MARIO CORDERO, CEO of the Port of Long Beach
DR. NINA RICHARDSON, Vice President, LBCC
GRISELDA SUAREZ and The Arts Council for Long Beach

These deserving individuals will receive the
BEVERLY O'NEILL ARTS AND LEADERSHIP AWARD
in recognition of their many contributions to the cultural and civic life of the
City of Long Beach

To honor our past and the people who have brought us to this moment, we are establishing the
Camerata Legacy Award.

The inaugural recipients are:
Dr. James K. Bass, LBCS Artistic Director (2017-Present)
Dr. Robert Istad, LBCS Artistic Director, (2009-2017)
Dr. Jonathan Talberg, LBCS Artistic Director (2005-2009)
Dr. Frank Allen, LBCS Founder (1966-1980)
in recognition of their many contributions to the artistic and organizational development of
Long Beach Camerata Singers
