Belmont Shore Christmas Parade

Immerse yourself in the enchantment of the holiday season at the annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade in the Belmont Shore neighborhood. With its mix of local marching bands, festive floats, singers, dancers and festive pups, the parade promises another unforgettable night.

This festive extravaganza draws in a crowd of approximately 30,000 spectators and is now Southern California's second-largest holiday parade! Joining in on the fun for the first time will be will be the Star Wars-themed 501st Legion, an international fan-based organization dedicated to the wearing of screen-accurate costumes of Imperial stormtroopers and other Star Wars characters. They will join such such parade favorites as the Last Regiment of Syncopated Drummers, Lit Riderz, and the SoCal Corgi Beach Day, along with longtime participants from the Port of Long Beach, Aquarium of the Pacific and Long Beach Airport

The parade route is along East Second Street, heading east from Livingston Avenue to Bayshore Avenue. The parade then loops back west on 2nd Street returning to Livingston, allowing spectators on both sides of the street to view the parade up close.

Due to the high volume of people attending the parade, we recommend parking at the beach lots off Ocean Blvd between Bennett and Granada or walking, biking, riding transit, or taking rideshare. For additional parking info, visit parklb.com.
