Valentine’s Day in Long Beach

Harbor Breeze

Harbor Breeze’s Sir Winston luxury yacht offers a Valentine’s Celebration Cruise complete with music, magic, dancing and dining, including roasted herb crusted whole sirloin, lobster linguine and grilled salmon with Chardonnay butter sauce. The cruise takes place Feb. 11, boarding at 6:30 pm and departing at 7 pm from Dock No. 2 at Rainbow Harbor, adjacent to the Aquarium of the Pacific (100 Aquarium Way).

The Breakfast Bar

The Breakfast Bar will not only be celebrating Valentine’s on Feb. 14, but the one-year anniversary of its popular second location at 3404 E. Fourth St. Couples will get a bottle of champagne to enjoy with a Prix Fixe Menu that includes Deviled Eggs, Watermelon Arugula Salad, Surf and Turf and plenty of chocolate desserts. Cafe Sevilla

Cafe Sevilla (140 Pine Ave.) offers a four-course Valentine’s menu on Feb. 14 with specials including warm goat cheese dip, Spanish charcuterie and a choice of pan seared duck with Spanish beer glaze or lobster paella Valenciana. Cafe Sevilla’s regular dinner menu will also be available. The celebration begins at 4:30 and features live Latin music by Robert Incelli Latin Jazz from 5 pm to 10 pm. Jolly Sailing

Chartering a sailboat offers a unique and romantic experience sure to create lasting memories. Jolly Sailing (401 Shoreline Village Dr.) provides everything you need for a safe sailing experience, including the Skipper. Fuego

Fuego at the Maya (700 Queensway Dr.) is offering two Valentine's dining options. Its Cupid Chocolate Brunches takes place Feb. 11 and 12 from 11 am to 4 pm and features the likes of such unique dishes as Eggs Benedict and Cocoa Cakes, Dark Beet and Chocolate-Vaca Frita, Cocoa Rubbed Rib Eye Steak and Cocoa Braised Barbacoa. Francisco Reyes Latin Jazz Trio performs. At Fuego’s Valentine dinner–Feb. 14, 5-10 pm–diners will enjoy the likes of Cocoa Crusted Filet of Beef, Chilean Sea Bass and White Truffle Risotto while listening to Latin guitarist Daveed Alvarado from 6 to 9 pm.

The Carvery

The Carvery (201 Pine Ave.) is a Downtown Long Beach staple, known for serving a delicious and varied American menu of options, topped off by some of the best steak and fish in the city.
