Just a short shuttle ride from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Long Beach is your base for the FIFA World Cup 2026 experience. Soccer’s biggest competition is coming to the U.S. this summer, and throughout Long Beach, local businesses, attractions, and hotels are celebrating with special promotions and events all June and July. Plus, Long Beach Transit will run shuttles directly from Downtown Long Beach to the games, so you can skip the stress of parking and focus on the fun.
With convenient access to the matches, engaging fan events, and vibrant districts full of dining, culture, and waterfront charm, Long Beach makes it easy to enjoy every moment of your World Cup adventure.
Matches in the ParkThe City of Long Beach is hosting a series of local soccer activations and match viewings at various parks throughout Long Beach.
Head to Matches in the Park events for a community watch party with a live big-screen match viewing, as well as activities for youth and families hosted by the City’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine. Bring blankets, chairs and picnic meals to enjoy the quarter finals.

Beach Streets Kickin' ItOn July 19, celebrate the tournament's final at Beach Streets Kickin’ It!
During Beach Streets events, streets on the event route are closed to vehicle traffic, transforming them into safe, open areas for people to bike, walk and explore their neighborhood.
For the Kickin’ It edition, big screen watch parties of the final match and family-friendly soccer activities will be stationed at hubs on North Pine Avenue, in the East Village, on 4th Street, and at Bixby Park.
LONG BEACH TRANSIT SHUTTLE
You won’t find a better deal on transportation to games at Los Angeles (SoFi) Stadium! Skip the parking fees and hassle of driving by riding directly from Downtown Long Beach to Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood for just $1.75. Service runs every 8 to 10 minutes, up to 4 hours before kickoff and 90 minutes after the game for all eight Los Angeles matches from June 12 to July 10. Here’s how to use the Metro World Cup Enhanced Service, provided by Long Beach Transit.
- Reserve a parking spot at City Place Lot C (51 E 3rd St) at ridelbt.com/worldcup. Parking reservations are $13.20.
- On game day, park your vehicle and walk to the shuttle stop at Long Beach Blvd and 1st St.
- Board the shuttle and use a TAP card or credit card to pay the $1.75 shuttle fee.
