Drop-In Drawing at Compound

Compound will host a free artist-led drawing session led by artists Dave van Patten and Kashira Edghill, who will provide creative prompts, tips, and techniques for you to try out.

Dave Van Patten is a Grammy Award winning album artist, illustrator, muralist, and designer from Long Beach, CA, best known for his colorful imagery, playful surrealism and humorous tone. Kashira Edghill is a painter, sculptor, musician, and filmmaker. She dabbles in different mediums including pastel, paint, colored pencils and collage. Her work mostly depicts abstractions of people or satirical distortions of traditional scenes.
