D.I.Y. Film Fest: Strange Shorts

The DIY Film Festival is officially opening its box office for the upcoming “Strange Shorts” Summer Showcase, happening at the Art Theatre of Long Beach. Audiences can now grab tickets to a curated collection of bizarre, beautiful, and boundary-pushing short films created entirely by independent, international and emerging artists.

Alongside the screenings, festivalgoers can attend live performances from Long Beach's best bands and DJs and a healthy dose of chaos (the good kind). Strange Shorts is more than a film fest—it’s a DIY portal to a new reality. Celebrating locally loved venues: Art Theatre of Long Beach, Vine LB, Bamboo Club, and Compound.

DIY Film Festival is a grassroots showcase of independent cinema, art, and performance coming back to Long Beach, California, for its 3rd year running. Built by creators for creators, DIYFF reclaims creative spaces for underrepresented voices and strange visions. No studios. No suits. Just stories.
