QUEEN MARY’S LUCK OF THE IRISH CELEBRATION

Enjoy an early St. Patrick's Day–March 15, 2-7 PM–aboard the Queen Mary (1126 Queens Hwy) during its Luck of the Irish Celebration. Grab a green drink and dig into some tasty bites, if you’re in the mood to move, there will be a live DJ spinning Irish tunes for you to dance to. If you’re looking for something a little more traditional, enjoy a special performance by Celtic dancers. DOWNTOWN PUB CRAWLS

There are two St. Paddy’s pub crawls happening in Downtown Long Beach–think the LBC likes to party? On Saturday, March 14, the St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Bar Crawl kicks things off. Check in from 1–4 PM at Altar Society Brewing (230 Pine Ave) and enjoy all-day access to more than 10 bars and restaurants including Shannon’s on Pine and ISM Brewing. Your wristband unlocks exclusive drink specials, free welcome shots at select venues, plus a crawl kit with map and coupons. Then, do the whole thing again on the day itself, Tuesday, March 17 during the St. Patrick’s Day Crawl, which begins at 5 PM.

THE AULD DUBLINER

As you’d expect for an authentic Irish pub whose interior was constructed in Ireland, then reconstructed in Long Beach, St. Paddy’s is kind of a big deal at The Auld Dubliner (71 S Pine Ave). So big it’s not limited to one day. On March 15, it will host an afternoon of traditional Irish music. Its “Pre-St. Paddy” event will include DJs spinning Irish vinyl, green apple shots and a midnight St. Paddy’s toast. And, on the day itself, March 17, Auld Dubliner will open an hour earlier at 11 AM so you can start your celebration early with an Irish coffee.

ALMOST ST. PATRICK’S DAY, BIXBY KNOLLS

Come out to Bixby Knolls for an Almost St. Patrick's Day celebration, Sunday, March 15th. There will be free shuttle rides to participating spots, festive drinks, food specials and live entertainment as the area becomes its alter ego: Brewery Knolls! Long Beach Clothing Co. (4218 Atlantic Ave) will be giving out free green LB vinyl stickers, Beachwood Brewing (3630 Atlantic Ave) will be selling $6 pints of stout and $6 housemade green shots. Lola’s Mexican Cuisine (4140 Atlantic Ave) will have numerous specials including $12 Shamrock Nachos, $5 Green Modelo draft as well as $3 tacos. Besides their own drink specials, Ambitious Ales (4019 Atlantic Ave) will have dog portrait photography and Rasselbock Kitchen and Beer Garden (4020 Atlantic Ave) will have green draft and Guiness specials.

DTLB LIVE

DTLB LIVE! Is a new, recurring monthly event series bringing live music, craft vendors and family friendly activities every third Saturday of the month on The Promenade N. between Broadway and 3rd St. March’s event, held March 21 from 4-8 PM will honor St. Patrick’s Day with a night of Irish music featuring The Bell Boys and McNulty School of Irish Dance. It will also be an EZ Sip event that allows patrons, 21-over, to purchase alcoholic beverages from designated spots and consume them within permitted outdoor areas on the The Promenade.

NO. 3 SPEAKEASY, QUEEN MARY

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day below deck at No.3 Speakeasy aboard the The Queen Mary (1126 Queens Hwy). On Sunday, March 15, from 4–8 PM, the speakeasy, a 1930s-themed joint located near the ship's bow, accessible down a flight of stairs from the lobby, will serve up Irish anthems and strong pours. Return back on St. Patrick’s Day itself, March 17, from 7–11 PM, for a shamrock celebration featuring Celtic beats and Irish spirits.

ST. PANIQ DAY

The Shannon’s on the Corner family of restaurants is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with festive food, drinks and live entertainment across its many venues. Secret Island (209 Pine Ave) is hosting Luck of the Tiki on March 17 with live music by Murdered Ghosts and a special holiday cocktail. Shannon’s On Pine (209 Pine Ave) will have a DJ and be serving green beer, a Reuben sandwich and a free corned beef and cabbage buffet from 12–2 PM. The Carvery (201 Pine Ave) will serve corned beef, Irish cocktails and green beer March 14–17, while Praia At The Top (105 W Broadway) hosts dancing with DJ SMS.
