Long Beach Christmas Tree Lighting 2025
Celebrate the holiday season in Downtown Long Beach at the 11th annual Christmas Tree Lighting! Free tickets are available now–RSVP required for entry.
With a 67-foot tall Christmas tree and more than 500,000 lights illuminating the Terrace Plaza, this dazzling Tree Lighting shouldn't be missed!
When and where
When: December 3, 5-8 PM. Doors open at 4 PM, and we recommend arriving early.

All ticketholders will receive a Long Beach Holiday Savings Pass and chance to enter the Santa Hat Challenge (details below).
Event Activities
- Fireworks: The tree lighting ceremony will be capped off by a thrilling fireworks finale with falling snow.
- Live Music & Performances: Enjoy carolers, live bands, and a performance from The Nutcracker by the Long Beach Ballet.
- Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus: Bring Santa your holiday wishes and pose for a special keepsake photo.
- Selfie Stations: Capture the magic of the season at holiday-themed selfie stations.
- Train Rides: Free train rides will be available before and after the tree lighting.
Spark of Love Toy Drive
Bring unwrapped, new toys to donate to the Long Beach Fire Department's annual Spark of Love toy drive, benefitting families and children in need.
