Meat lovers will enjoy The Carvery (201 Pine Ave), where flat iron bistro steak is an appetizer and you can order the Butcher’s Block Meat Sampler and receive 8 ounces each of filet mignon, ribeye, and flat iron steak, plus two family-style sides and three sauces. Located in the art deco building on the corner of Pine Ave and Broadway, The Carvery interior has elements of a traditional steakhouse with a modern finish, like walls covered in greenery and sculptural light fixtures. Enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30 P.M.

QUEENSVIEW STEAKHOUSE

Queensview Steakhouse (435 Shoreline Village Dr) is located on the third floor under the round, peaked roof of Parkers’ Lighthouse, providing a 360-degree view of the city skyline as well as the Queen Mary across the bay. The restaurant hosts live jazz on Tuesday through Saturday nights and serves a traditional steakhouse menu along with seafood, including a raw bar, sushi menu, and seafood entrees. Take a date and order the Prime porterhouse for two, which includes a choice of two sides and a dessert to share.
