Visit Long Beach’s Terrace Theater Plaza in December for Photos & Holiday Cheer
The Terrace Theater Plaza (300 E. Ocean Blvd.) in the heart of Downtown Long Beach is one of the most popular spots to visit during the holidays, thanks to the jaw-dropping array of decorations, with the 67-foot-tall Christmas tree as the centerpiece. In total, there are half a million lights on the plaza during December, making it the perfect place for soaking in the holiday cheer and taking amazing photos with friends and family. Decorations and light installations include larger-than-life Christmas ornaments where you can pose inside, dancing water fountains lit with brilliant colors, and more.

Visit Long Beach is launching its Santa Hat Challenge on December 3! Search the Terrace Theater Plaza for Santa Hat decorations and enter to win prizes using the Santa Hat Challenge pass. Find six or more of the LED Santa Hat decorations hung on the plaza and nearby Rainbow Bridge, scan the QR codes posted at each location, and be entered to win a sweepstakes. Three winners will be selected in January to win prize bundles that include experiences at local restaurants and attractions.
