The Terrace Theater Plaza (300 E. Ocean Blvd.) in the heart of Downtown Long Beach is one of the most popular spots to visit during the holidays, thanks to the jaw-dropping array of decorations, with the 67-foot-tall Christmas tree as the centerpiece. In total, there are half a million lights on the plaza during December, making it the perfect place for soaking in the holiday cheer and taking amazing photos with friends and family. Decorations and light installations include larger-than-life Christmas ornaments where you can pose inside, dancing water fountains lit with brilliant colors, and more.
Combine your visit to the Terrace Plaza with a great night out in Long Beach to make magical holiday memories this December. See The Nutcracker, hear a performance of Handel’s Messiah, or enjoy one of the other holiday performances in Long Beach this season. And don’t miss the incredible Christmas pop-ups at local bars, including Miracle at The Ordinarie and Peppermint Lounge at the Queen Mary. We also have a list of great restaurants in walking distance from the plaza, and if you’re in the mood for holiday shopping, the plaza is close to The Pike Outlets, Shoreline Village, and the East Village Arts District.
