Young Americans: The Music of Living American Composers

Catalyst Chamber Ensemble will present the music of living American Composers like Eric Whitacre and Jake Runestad in their performance of “Young Americans: The Music of Living American Composers” on April 30th at 4:30 pm at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Long Beach. Runestad and Whitacre are known for a “neoimpressionist style” that builds upon existing choral pre-text to explore modern scientific advancements, social issues and facets of the human experience.
