The World Famous Block Party is a free, community-centered celebration rooted in Black music, culture, and the spirit of Long Beach. The Juneteenth Edition is one part of a greater series of block parties coming throughout the year, each one built around a moment worth gathering for. Bringing together artists, families, and local creatives, the event creates space for connection across generations through music, food, art, and shared experience. Grounded in the legacy of VIP Records and the cultural influence of Black music, the Block Party celebrates the voices and energy that shape Long Beach today. This is more than a one-day event.
