Immersive Theater and Tea at Bembridge House

Come to the historic Bembridge House, drink the tea and immerse yourself into three one acts that all weave the generations of a house through three very different families that have lived and perhaps died in this old Victorian home. It will be certainly a wake at times and come with uncharted waters of emotion yet wickedly funny the next saucer turned. Join us to see who may be touched body and soul.

Tea with Riders to the Sea and Some Silly Acts for Thee comes to the Bembridge House this September. Experience three acts of immersive theatre inspired by life in Great Britain, where family, tea, death, inheritance, and mourning intertwine in a story that is equal parts poignant and delightfully dark.

Our Thursday evening performances feature a relaxed tea experience with unlimited hot tea, freshly brewed coffee, and a generous self-serve buffet of sweet and savory refreshments. Enjoy the first act beneath the trees on the front porch before moving inside the historic Bembridge House for the second act, a funeral reception unlike any other. The evening concludes in the back garden with the final act—and a special surprise.
