AAPI Author Talk & Book Signing

Bel Canto Books and Intertrend are delighted to host a book signing with authors Sarah Ahn, Nam Soon Ahn, and C.B. Lee. This event is free, but RSVP is requested on Eventbrite, where you can also purchase a signed copy of each book to pick up at the event.

Sarah Ahn is ATK's social media manager and the creator of the Ahnest Kitchen website. She records her experiences on Instagram and TikTok of living with her Korean immigrant parents, chronicling her mother’s cooking, grocery shopping trips, and more. Many of Sarah’s posts have gone viral with 10+ million views and they have sold grocery stores out of product. She has been featured on NBC News, ABC News, Yahoo News, and Good Morning America. Nam Soon Ahn learned to cook from her mother in Korea before immigrating to America in the 1990s. She owned and operated an Asian noodle restaurant for nearly a decade. They will be signing copies of their cookbook UMMA.

C.B. Lee is an author of young adult and middle grade fiction including the NYT Bestseller Minecraft: The Shipwreck. Their works also include the Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selected A Clash of Steel: A Treasure Island Remix, the Lambda Literary Award nominated Sidekick Squad series, Ben 10 graphic novels, Out Now: Queer We Go Again, and From A Certain Point Of View: The Empire Strikes Back. Lee’s work has been featured in NPR, Teen Vogue, Wired Magazine, Hypable, Tor’s Best of Fantasy and Sci Fi and the American Library Association’s Rainbow List. Lee will be signing copies of A Clash of Steel.
