LONG BEACH SYMPHONY
Long Beach Symphony performs six Classical concerts and five POPS! concerts in Downtown Long Beach.
Featuring some of Southern California’s finest symphonic musicians, Long Beach Symphony celebrates its 84th season and the second full season under its Music Director, Eckart Preu (Eck-art Proy). The Symphony presents more than 100 concerts, education, and community programs annually that reach more than 100,000 residents—from toddlers to senior citizens.
Long Beach Symphony’s anchor series is its Classical Series of six full symphonic concerts held at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center Terrace Theater as well as its five-concert POPS! Series held at the Long Beach Arena’s Pacific Ballroom. The Symphony also provides over 150 free music education programs in partnership with LBUSD schools, local libraries, and community festivals.
