FIREWORKS SHOWS

Two fireworks shows will illuminate the downtown waterfront on New Year’s Eve in Long Beach again this year. The first will take place at 9:00 PM, allowing earlier (and younger) revelers the chance to enjoy the celebration, and the second at midnight to usher in 2024 with a bang. The shows can be viewed from just about anywhere along the coast, but good viewing spots include the lighthouse at ShoreLine Aquatic Park, Shoreline Village, Alamitos Beach, Junipero Beach and the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier.

Aquarium of the Pacific

Dive into 2024 with one of the biggest parties in Long Beach at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s (100 Aquarium Way) New Year’s Eve Night Dive! Loud as Funk will play live on the main stage in the Great Hall and DJs will be spinning in the galleries. There will be a silent disco and karaoke, all leading up to the confetti countdown at midnight. Snap a pic in the roaming photo booth, grab a drink from the cash bars, or enjoy a tasty meal in Café Scuba before visiting with all your favorite animals. Night Dive takes place from 8 PM on December 31 to 1 AM the next morning. For tickets and information visit the event page or call (562) 590-3100.
