Oktoberfest in Long Beach
Grab your lederhosen and your favorite stein–it’s Oktoberfest 2025 in Long Beach! You can find festivities across town throughout the months of September and October, featuring polka bands, stein-holding contests, and–of course–beer. Prost!
PORT CITY TAVERN
On September 20, Port City Tavern (4306 E Anaheim St) will host its 3rd Annual Oktoberfest to raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and childhood cancer research. From 3 to 10PM, enjoy live music on the outdoor stage, games and contests, and food and drink in the Biergarten. Support this fundraising event for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which specializes in childhood cancer research.
STEELCRAFT LONG BEACH
Oktoberfest at Steelcraft Long Beach (3768 Long Beach Blvd) will be held on September 27 from 2 to 10 PM, with live music, a contest for best dressed in traditional German garb, a stein hoisting competition, and weiner dog races. Entry is free and throughout the event you can grab some eats from any of the Steelcraft vendors, including Elio’s Wood Fire Pizza, La Taqueria Brand, I Luv Ur Buns, Salud Juice, Hangry Belly, Steelhead Coffee, and Smog City Brewing.
THE SOCIAL LIST
Now through September 18, 2025, The Social List (2105 E 4th St) on Retro Row transforms into an Oktoberfest Brasserie, with special food and drink offerings. Stop in for daily rotating seasonal German beers on draft, three seasonal canned beers from Paulaner, and a special menu including Bavarian pretzel bites, currywurst fries, an Oktoberfest sausage platter, and lamb lollipops. Enjoy a table indoors at this European-style tavern, or sit outside at a cafe table on the patio for some of the neighborhood’s best people watching.
RASSELBOCK KITCHEN & BEER GARDEN
You can enjoy authentic German cuisine and beer all year long at Rasselbock Kitchen & Beer Garden (4020 Atlantic Ave), but the Bixby Knolls eatery will be taking it up a notch with Oktoberfest celebration. The kick-off party on September 20 at 3PM will feature live music, food and drink specials, and decorations, with the staff dressed in lederhosen and dirndls to tap the ceremonial Oktoberfest keg.
LONG BEACH OKTOBERFEST BAR CRAWL
On September 27, enjoy a self-guided Long Beach Oktoberfest Bar Crawl in Downtown Long Beach. Tickets include a wristband that provides free entry to the venues offering various food and drink specials. The crawl begins at Altar Society Brewing and Coffee Co. (230 Pine Ave), and ticket holders can visit each of the participating stops between 4 and 11PM.
