Long Beach Expo: The Collectibles Show

Since 1964, the Long Beach Expo has been a West Coast destination for collectors, dealers and anyone fascinated by the stories behind the things people collect.

Returning to the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center Sept. 9–11, 2026, this three-day extravaganza brings together hundreds of dealers offering coins, banknotes, stamps, sports cards, memorabilia, jewelry and more. Meet experts, get your treasures appraised, discover something new or hunt for that elusive addition to your collection.

THE FAQS

The Long Beach Expo is open to the public from Wednesday, Sept. 9, through Friday, Sept. 11, at the Long Beach Convention Center (300 E Ocean Blvd). The expo will open each day at 10 AM and wrap up at 6 PM on Sept. 9-10, and 5:30 PM on Sept. 11. General admission is $15; tickets for seniors (65+) and children (8-16) are $10 per day; and children (7-under) are free. A three-day pass is $25 per person.

AUTHENTICATION

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) will be on hand at Booth #701 to authenticate and grade U.S. and world coins and banknotes. Bring coins from home or submit ungraded purchases made at the Expo for professional evaluation. Onsite grading can help ensure your collectibles receive an accurate assessment and realize their full marketplace value. Look for the bright golden shield above the PCGS booth and bring your treasures to the experts.

MEET THE EXPERT

Meet the Expert (Booth 103) sessions are an opportunity to speak to the foremost experts in numismatics to have questions about your coins answered as well as appraised. The expert, available from 12 to 1 PM on Sept. 10, will be none other than David Hall, founder of Professional Coin Grading Service. Attendees are asked to keep items to a maximum of five to ensure experts have time for everyone.

DAILY GIVEAWAYS

Each day of the Long Beach Expo brings a chance to win! Public attendees can pick up a raffle ticket at the Registration Booth before entering the show, then listen for the winning numbers at 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Drawings take place at Information Booth 105, and you must be present to win. So grab your ticket, stick around and see if your number comes up!
