How to Watch the 2028 Olympic Games in Long Beach
Long Beach is a premier destination for the 2028 Summer Olympics, hosting 11 major athletic events during the games–the most of any city other than Los Angeles. REGISTER FOR TICKETS
The best way to get early access to tickets for the Olympic Games in Long Beach is to register in advance on the LA28 website at la28.org. Registration for the LA28 Ticket Draw opens on January 14, 2026. Sign up on the website, then watch for an email assigning you a time slot to purchase tickets. POP-UPS & HOSPITALITY HOUSES
Beyond the gaming events, people in Long Beach will have the chance to visit pop-ups and hospitality houses hosted by nations from around the world. The Hellenic Olympic Committee has selected Long Beach as the location for Greece’s Team House for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Hellenic Olympic House will be located at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church and will host exhibits and events, including the opportunity to meet Olympic athletes. Denmark has also selected Long Beach for its national hospitality house and will bring their training ship DANMARK to dock at Rainbow Harbor. House of Denmark will be located at The Westin on Ocean Boulevard and will be a high-performance location offering sports medicine, recovery, nutrition, and mental health support to athletes. Most recently, Ireland announced that its Irish Olympic House will be headquartered at Ovation Square in Downtown Long Beach.
Sports Bars in Long Beach
Long Beach sports bars will also be hosting viewing parties and other special events during the 2028 Olympic Games. Standouts include Legends in Belmont Shore, known as the nation’s first dedicated sports bar, and Watch Me! Sports Bar, California’s first dedicated to women’s athletics. These and several other pubs across the city offer true community and a whole lot of fun on game day.
