LONG BEACH BBQ FESTIVAL
Step into the heart of Long Beach and experience the 4th Annual Long Beach BBQ Festival, hosted by Axiom Kitchen with NoahS’s Arc Foundation. Held on Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend at Rainbow Lagoon (400 E Shoreline Dr), from 12 to 9 PM, the event features world-class barbecue, live music and craft beverages. Guests can explore diverse flavors with top pitmasters from across Southern California while enjoying the Live Fire Experience, presented by Titus Smokers, showcasing cooking in its purest form.
LA INDEPENDENT BEER FEST
Celebrate craft beer culture at the LA Independent Beer Fest, an annual event hosted by the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild. Held June 6 at Shoreline Aquatic Park, this lively outdoor festival features 150 beers from 75 breweries, plus live music, local food, and games. Attendees can enjoy pours from local favorites like Altar Society, Ambitious Ales, Beachwood Brewing, ISM Brewing, Long Beach Beer Lab, Smog City Brewing, Syncopated Brewing, Ten Mile Brewing, and Trademark Brewing. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax from 1 to 5 PM (12 to 5 PM for VIPs) while exploring new flavors.
STROLL & SAVOR
Enjoy tastes from all of Belmont Shore’s top eateries along 2nd Street during Summer Stroll & Savor food fests, among the neighborhood’s most popular annual events. More than 50 restaurants, bars, and other food and beverage businesses along 14 blocks will set up stations along the sidewalks with delicious bites and sips to sample. Plus, retail shops will offer special deals and musicians will entertain with live music. Purchase a sheet of tasting tickets at the Chase Bank location–tickets can be used at any of the three Stroll & Savor events throughout the summer.
TASTE OF DOWNTOWN
Taste of Downtown is the Downtown Long Beach Alliance’s signature culinary and cultural celebration, bringing together top local restaurants, live music and DJs, amid a street-festival atmosphere in the heart of Downtown. The event this August will be held in partnership with KCRW and feature the independent radio station’s top DJs alongside delicious bites. Guests can enjoy bite-size food samples alongside beer, wine and craft cocktails from the area’s community of chefs, brewers and mixologists, as well as interactive displays and activations that showcase the unique character and creativity of Downtown Long Beach—all coming together for an unforgettable experience of flavor, culture and community.
CRAFT BEER LB FEST
Discover the Craft Beer LB Festival Long Beach on September 12, 2026, at Rancho Los Cerritos (4600 Virginia Rd). This lively event showcases local and regional breweries, offering unlimited tastings of diverse craft beers. Guests can enjoy live music, local food vendors, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere celebrating Southern California’s independent brewing scene.
