The Art of Debriefing, is a collection of over 200 Gelatin Silver photographs depicting candid reflections of imprints on those touched by war. Presented by 4 photographers, the exhibit explores the life of veterans and their personal experiences of re-entry into a civilian lifestyle. The Art of Debriefing was previously hosted by the Museum of History and Art (Ontario, CA), the National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum (Chicago, IL) and LAAVAA (Culver City, CA). The black and white photographs in the exhibit portray war veterans from WWI up through soldiers serving today, war combat images from Vietnam shot between 1965-1970, images of Vietnam citizens from the Cheo Reo Province and images from Saigon, Vietnam circa 1969-1970. The Art Walk takes place around the streets of Ocean Blvd, Linden Ave, 1st Street, Broadway and Elm. Linden Avenue is closed to the traffic and transformed into a street art fair by local artists. Two stages are dedicated to street performances and live music.
