The Art of Debriefing, is a collection of over 200 Gelatin Silver photographs depicting candid reflections of imprints on those touched by war. Presented by 4 photographers, the exhibit explores the life of veterans and their personal experiences of re-entry into a civilian lifestyle. The Art of Debriefing was previously hosted by the Museum of History and Art (Ontario, CA), the National Vietnam Veterans Art Museum (Chicago, IL) and LAAVAA (Culver City, CA).
The black and white photographs in the exhibit portray war veterans from WWI up through soldiers serving today, war combat images from Vietnam shot between 1965-1970, images of Vietnam citizens from the Cheo Reo Province and images from Saigon, Vietnam circa 1969-1970. The public is invited to get up close with the ocean’s ultimate predators at the Aquarium of the Pacific for FREE during Shark Lagoon Nights. Guests will have the opportunity to touch more than 150 sharks and see large sharks such as sandtigers at the Shark Lagoon exhibit on select Friday evenings from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Shark Lagoon brings guests closer to these predators than they ever imagined. Guests can touch and learn about sharks; shop in Pacific Collections; purchase drinks, coffee, dessert, or a light meal; and enjoy live music during Shark Lagoon Nights.
