Dario Franchitti is the winningest driver in U.S. open-wheel history from Great Britain; the Scotland native's 31 career IndyCar wins place him seventh on the all-time list.
Franchitti won the 2009 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, where he had starts and three other podium finishes (2nd in 1998 and 1999; 3rd in 2011).
He has four IndyCar Series Championships (2007, 2009, 2010, 2011) and three Indianapolis 500 wins (2007, 2010, 2012). His 90 podium finishes put him in fourth place on the all-time list.
