Día de Los Muertos Parade & Festival
November 2, 11:00am
Save the date! The City of Long Beach annually holds a Día de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, Celebration in coordination with the First District City council office.
The celebration traditionally includes a family-friendly celebration of culture and tradition featuring colorful cultural attire, dance, food, arts and crafts, and world-class music. Día de Los Muertos is deeply rooted in the traditions and cultures of the indigenous communities of Mexico and Latin America. As family, friends and neighbors continue those traditions in ways that are most meaningful in their lives, the City encourages the entire community to also come together for this grand celebration in downtown Long Beach.
This year's celebration will be held on Saturday, November 2, and will include the City’s festive street parade, coinciding with an Arte y Ofrendas Festival featuring arts and crafts, music and entertainment, and food and beverage offerings.
Information on the 2023 event is available on the City of Long Beach website.
