It's that time again, Race Week in Long Beach! Don't miss one second of the action!
Race fans get ready! One of the city's most exciting and popular annual things to do, the 46th Grand Prix of Long Beach is back! We've made it easy for you to get in on the fun, just have a look below.
The Grand Prix of Long Beach is a three-day NTT IndyCar Series racing weekend in Long Beach. It is the longest-running major street race in North America (occurring annually since 1975!), and it draws about 200,000 attendees each year. While racing is the main event, there are also plenty more activities for the whole family, including two evening concerts, autograph sessions, food trucks, and a family fun zone.
In 2020, the Grand Prix Race Weekend will be from Friday, April 17th to Sunday, April 19th. There will be several other local events leading up to Race Weekend. See below on this page for a more specific schedule of events.
3-Day General Admission tickets are $100 per person, or you can buy a ticket for a specific day of the event. General Admission for Friday is $34, Saturday is $68, and Sunday is $73. Pre-paid parking packages, handicapped seating, IndyCar Series Paddock access passes, Super Photo tickets and an array of VIP Club packages are also available.
Fans can select and pay for their Grand Prix of Long Beach tickets, parking and paddock passes online here. Ticket orders can also be placed by calling the toll-free ticket hotline, (888) 827-7333. A printed ticket brochure that includes a circuit map, ticket prices, order form and other information is also available here.
The Grand Prix weekend’s on-track action will be headlined by the NTT IndyCar Series and also include the BUBBA burger Sports Car Grand Prix, featuring the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, Motegi Racing Super Drift Challenge, SPEED Energy Stadium Super Trucks, Pirelli World Challenge and the inaugural running of the historic Can-Am Challenge.

Each year, Formula DRIFT kicks-off the championship season on the Grand Prix of Long Beach Street Course.
2020 will be Formula DRIFT’s 15th consecutive year at the famous Street Course. The 2-day event will again be one week prior to the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Utilizing Turns 9, 10, and 11 of the Grand Prix of Long Beach Street Course, Formula DRIFT slides its way on one of two actual street course utilized for professional drifting. With a high-speed entry and very tight spacing between the cars and walls, there is no room for mistakes, making the opening round of the Formula DRIFT season one of the most exciting drift events of the year.
This event also features: a huge vendor village, tons of giveaways from sponsors, driver autograph session, open pits to see the cars and stars up close and personal, and so much more!
The Streets of Long Beach event will kick-off the 2020 Championship season in style with new cars, new drivers, and all the sideways excitement that Formula DRIFT is known for.

Thunder Thursday at The Pike Outlets, the free-to-the-public festival that annually marks the start of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach race weekend, will take place on Thursday, April 16, and have plenty of fun for the entire family.
Presented by the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, Thunder Thursday’s activities begin at 6:00 p.m., with NTT IndyCar Series pit stop competitions on Shoreline Drive, west of Pine Ave., taking place at 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Tony Carbajal’s stunt motorcycles will wow the crowd at 7:05 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. and the always-exciting freestyle motocross demonstrations will take over Shoreline Drive at 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

For those who quieren rock-and-roll, the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach has you covered: an acclaimed international artist (TBA) will take to the stage to headline the popular Tecate Light Fiesta Friday Concert. Past performers have included Moderatto, Ozomatli, and Moenia.
The Tecate Light Fiesta Friday Concert will take place at approximately 6:45 p.m. on the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center Terrace Plaza and is free to Friday race ticket holders. Space at the Plaza is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Free Fiesta Friday pass coupons will be available for fans 21-and-older to pick up at retail locations in Southern California where Tecate and Tecate Light are sold (where available and legal).

Rock-and-roll royalty will invade the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach when SMG presents a high-energy performance by a legendary rock act (TBA) at the event’s popular Saturday night Rock-N-Roar Concert.
Free to Saturday race ticket holders, the concert will take place at approximately 6 p.m. Space at the outdoor stage is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Past Rock-N-Roar performers have included iconic acts like Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, and supergroup Lords of Chaos featuring members of Guns N' Roses, ZZ Top, The Cult, and Stone Temple Pilots.
