THE SKY ROOM RESTAURANT

A dominant and historical landmark of the Western Seaboard, this exclusive waterfront resort has served as a playground for thousands of visitors since its 1926 debut. In 1938, Conrad Hilton acquired The Breakers Hotel, making it the eighth in the Hilton chain. The Sky Room restaurant first opened in the 1930’s located atop The Breakers Hotel and has lent its ambience to local guests, politicians, and Hollywood Celebrities. It has hosted the rendezvous of Elizabeth Taylor, Lindbergh, Babe Ruth, Clark Gable, Merle Oberon, Errol Flynn, Carry Grant, and many more.

The Spanish Baroque sandstone colored landmark is the home to The Sky Room restaurant with its newly renovated Art Deco design, bringing you back to the Supper Club era of the 30's and 40’s. Featuring New American Cuisine, a superb wine list, stunning 360-degree view of the city, Long Beach Harbor, and live music and dancing.

After Hilton sold the property in 1947, it changed ownership a number of times becoming primarily a senior residence. The current owner, Mr. Bernard Rosenson, acquired the hotel in 1997. The Sky Room offers history steeped in romance, dazzling 360-degree view, and cuisine to delight the soul.
