The California Gray whale makes the most spectacular and longest mass migration of any marine mammal. Tens of thousands of gray whales migrate annually along the west coast of California from their summer feeding grounds in the Bering Sea to the winter grounds of the Baja California lagoons and then return to their summer feeding grounds in the Bering Sea for round trip journey taking several months to complete. The migration takes place from January to May each year and is wonderful opportunity to view these incredible mammals.
