Pow! Wow! Long Beach 2016
The second annual Pow! Wow! Long Beach returns to bring arts and culture to the city during the week of July 11th to July 17th.
French artist KASHINK, seen painting above, is a participant in Pow! Wow! Long Beach 2016.
Renowned artists from around the globe will travel to Long Beach to adorn the city's buildings with life-size murals and art instalations and provide visitors with a week of exhibtions, screenings, and talks.

July 11 - July 17: Mural Painting
Over 30 artists will take to the streets of Long Beach to create 21 new murals throughout the city. Learn about participating artists who hail from Spain to Japan to Southern California here and explore the map below for the locations of this year's (and last year's!) murals.

July 12: Imprint Presents a Talk with Martha Cooper and Ernest Zacharevic
Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic and NYC-based photographer Martha Cooper with offer a look into their collaboration of turning Cooper's photographs into Zacharevic's life-sized murals and street art with a talk hosted by Eugene Kan of Maeka. For more information, visit the event page here.

July 12: Pow! Wow! x 1xRUN Fine Art Print Exhibition

July 13: Imprint Presents a Jeff Staple 1-2-1 with Sean “Hula” Yoro
Sean "Hula" Yoro has adorned lifeless concrete walls across the world with a series of potraits using oil paint. Jeff Staple provides a look into the artist's work through this 1-2-1 talk. For more information, visit the event page here.

July 14: Night Dive
The Aquarium of the Pacific and Pow! Wow! Long Beach have teamed up for a a special rendition of the adult-only Night Dive. The event will allow guests to take in the sounds of local musicians, explore the Aquarium's galleries, and observe Lisboan artist Pantonio as he paints a mural on the Aquarium's front wall. The Long Beach Museum of Art will join the festivities with a new exhibition,"Vitality and Verve: In The Third Dimension", that showcases immersive multi-media installations. The exhibition officially opens on July 16, but visitors can get a first look at LBMA AfterDark on July 15.
