50’s Inspired Group Delights Attendees with Vintage Rock and Roll

(Long Beach, CA, July 2009) – Turn back the clock, get ready to rock and take a nostalgic trip down memory lane as “Come Back Buddy” hits the stage at the Long Beach Harvest Festival, happening October 2-4 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

“Come Back Buddy” is a three-piece rock and roll band inspired by the legendary 50’s group,"Buddy Holly and the Crickets."  The trio's repertoire includes the music of many artists from the 50's era, including Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Ricky Nelson, and of course, Buddy Holly.

The hopping entertainment doesn’t stop there!  The imaginative “Scott Land Marionettes” will be taking the stage at the food court; times vary during the day and each performance guarantees to entertain the little ones and adults alike.  These charming marionettes will capture and impress any audience and provide a great way to relax after a busy day of shopping.

In addition to the outstanding acts on stage, the famously popular Long Beach Harvest Festival offers an array of strolling performers.  Entertain your eardrums and get your groove to fun acts like the Banjo Buddies, Derek the Mime and WC Willy as Elvis.  Everyone is sure to be delighted with these exciting performers.

The Harvest Festival is the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast and holds nine shows all over California and Nevada.  The event boasts over 24,000 American handmade arts and crafts showcased by hundreds of artists. Guests can interact directly with the artisans and watch live exhibitor demonstrations.
