The Hyatt Regency Long Beach, towering 16 stories above Long Beach Harbor, has spectacular water views and a facade of mirrored windows reflecting the essence of Southern California. The hotel's south side is a wide stretch of lawn on Rainbow Lagoon where most ceremonies are held. Many brides choose the lagoon as a "port of entry" for the ceremony, gliding up in a Gondola and stepping regally onto the shore. After the ceremony, parties can pose for pictures on the lagoon's small island with arching Japanese bridges. For Long Beach wedding receptions, there are several sites from which to choose, the most popular being Rainbow Pavilion - a capacious tent adjoining the ceremony lawn area. For a more formal event, we suggest having your reception in our Beacon Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the harbor and Queen Mary.
